The Insite has been hearing from lots of city of Houston employees and they're mad.
Those people say since the city's new $12 million dollar computerized payroll system went on line their checks haven't been right.
Some say they are missing overtime, holiday pay, and vacation hours.
Those employees say the Kronos system is a virtual nightmare costing them money.
However, the Insite had a chance to speak with officials from the city's Administration department.
They say the problems that have occured are minor when you realize there are 23,000 city employees.
Chris Newport with Administration and Regulation indicated the problems many of the city workers are having is operator error.
He says it will take some time for them to learn how to prpoperly use Kronos but he says the new payroll system will only benefit the city down the road.
Newport says Houston will save $7 million annually as a result of installing the new payroll system.
While city workers say just get our checks right.
Newport says if employees are having problems they should immediately report it to their supervisor and the issue will likely be corrected in two days!
