MEMBERS OF THE POLICE UNION MEET WITH A CANDIDATE FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY!

Judge Mike Anderson

Pat Lykos
The Insite has learned Harris County Judge Mike Anderson met with members of the Houston Police Officers' Union Thursday.  Anderson is now running for the position of Harris County District Attorney.  It's the seat currently held by Pat Lykos.  And as many of you know there has been no love lost between the police union and Lykos.  It was just last month when several law enforcement groups announced a vote of no confidence in Lykos as the county's top prosecutor.  There's no word yet if union leaders will endorse Anderson over Lykos but there will soon be a political action meeting involving the membership of the union.  It is then when they will decide who they will support in the race for district attorney.  I think the answer to that is already pretty clear!
