WE NEED THE HELP OF HPD OVER HERE!!!!!
The business community in Houston's New China Town is complaining about the crime that has hit their area. They say the crime has come in the form of robberies all over the developing area. And now they're asking HPD to provide the area with more officers and patrols. They say now they depend on private security hired by individual businesses. And they say with the community pumping millions into the city's economy and attracting millions more in foreign investments that's simply not good enough. The business community is telling residents, shoppers and vistors to keep their guard up to protect themselves until HPD shows up in The New China Town. The pictures above are of the two business men Insite interviewed Kenneth Li and Jackson Change along with 2 of the security guards who are dedicated to protecting the area. Council Member MJ Kahn promised he would get HPD involved in the effort to address the rash of robberies in the area. The business leaders also went before city council Tuesday to let their concerns be known. What is opinion on this issue!!!!
AS FIRST SEEN ON FOX 26 NEWS (IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING YOU'RE MISSING OUT)
HPD really needs to step up to the plate. I'm glad to see the Asian community speaking out.
