JUST A STROLL DOWN THE STREET WITH OUR PETS!
I had to snap a photo of this scene in northeast Houston. It was of two mothers and their children strolling down a street. But what bothered me was the women were accompanied by two unleased pit bulls. I always cringe when I see pit bulls just chillin in a neighborhood without any restraints. Someone walking by could be attacked or the dogs coulod turn on the babies or the women. What do you think? By the way, the second dog was in between cars and I couldn't catch a pic of him!
Do some pit bulls attack, yes. Do all pit bulls attack no. I hate that people stereotype this breed. A friend was attacked by a dog and needed stitches, but the dog was all of 12 pounds. They have also had pit mixes, and they never as much growled at him or anybody else. The media stereotypes this breed just as they do our black men, low social economic populations, Hispanics, and the list goes on.
ReplyDeleteThis ain't about the black man and stereo types. This is about a dog that's known for being aggressive. Is it the owners fault? In some cases sure. But these dogs are not meant to roam freely down the street without restraints. No dog should, particularly this breed. I stand by this: Pit bulls are dangerous!
ReplyDeleteSorry,
The Insite
Well, they didn't seem to be too concerned so why should we be?
ReplyDeleteFree Mike Vick!!!
ReplyDeleteIsiah you sound like a PETA activist on the DL. Your Hood card has been revoked, SCARY ASS
ReplyDeleteThese people are just plain stupid IF YOU HAVE A DOG OF ANY TYPE LEASH IT. THE AVERAGE PERSON ON THE STREET DOES NOT KNOW YOUR DOGS MENTALITY AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GUESS THAT YOUR DOG IS HARMLESS.
ReplyDeleteI aint trying to let anyones dog "sniff" because you just never know when that dog is going to snap. People with dogs especially pit bulls who are known to be agressive should be held criminally liable if the dog is not leashed and does damage to someone.
Don't sterotype pitbulls?
ReplyDeleteWeel, I've never seen a pack of wild Poodles attack...have you?
Not a pack of wild poodles... but an individual poodle... yes I have... and it was a miniature one at that.
ReplyDeleteshould your dog be leashed, yeah, but the bread doesn't have anything to do with.
Despite repeated efforts, my dog gets out the fence. Maybe you can take pictures of the schnauzer when she is illegally going through people's trash. Are the feds going to come after me now for that???
