BYE BYE MELINDA, WE'LL SEE YOU IN 2012!

Felix and Melinda Spaulding Chevalier

The Insite would like to congratulate FOX 26 News anchor Melinda Spaulding.  She and her husband Felix Chevalier will soon be the proud parents of a new baby boy.

Now, let's not put the cart before the horse just yet.  Melinda hasn't delivered the bundle of joy yet.  However, this will be her last week on FOX 26 as she takes her maternity leave.

Her co-anchor Don Teague tells me Melinda will be gone at last until January.  But before she takes her leave there will be a small temporary going away party for her in the FOX 26 newsroom thanks to reporter Sally MacDonald.  She spearheaded the effort to get Melinda a cake, card, and gift.  Top that.

This will be Melinda and Felix's second child.  Their first was the little cup of joy named Landon.

Congratulations guys and Melinda we will see you at the first of the year!
