MARIO WILLIAMS OUT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!

FOX 26 Sports has learned Houston Texans linebacker Mario Williams suffered a torn pectoral muscle on Sunday and will miss the rest of the season.

Williams suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Texans' 25-20 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

He left the game and didn't return to action, but did watch the second half from the sidelines.

League sources told FOX 26 that Williams is expected to have surgery this week.
Texans officials have not been available for comment.
