Harris County Commissioner Steve Radack is hot again and asking why the county has to pay the city of Houston's drainage fee. This comes after Radack learned the county would owe the city hundreds of thousands of dollars each year from the fee that was passed by voters in the city last November. Radack even asked the County Attorney's office if Harris County had to pay the fee. First Assistant County Attorney Terry O'rourke told Radack because Harris County is a sovereign government they couldn't be forced to pay the fee. But O'rouke says don't be surprised if the city retaliated one day by shutting off the water at Reliant Stadium. Now that would be real payback wouldn't it?
