SAMSUNG SOUND CHECK LANDS IN HOUSTON!

PARAMORE WOWS THE AUDIENCE IN THE BAYOU CITY!

Last Tuesday was a night to remember in Houston especially if you made it to the Meridian downtown. It's where the Nashville based pop-punk group Paramore performed to a hyped out audience. The band lead by 19 year old Hayley Williams captivated the crowd for the full set. Paramore, formed in 2004, hit the stage around 9pm and didn't stop until the audience couldn't scream anymore. It was the groups second visit to H-Town. The band members are Hayley, Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis. The event was put on by Samsung Sound Check. It was a partnership with Cricket mobile to highlight some of the young and rising talent on the national scene. Paramore was the anointed set for Houston. Some of the other artists and groups to take part in Samsung's Sound Check tour at various venues around the country are: Ne-Yo, Sean Kingston, Gym Class Heroes, and Jimmy Eat World. But the concert isn't all you'll get at the Sound Check event. There are interactive sampling phone booths that gives examples of the music capabilities of Samsung phones. Visitors were also given a book of matches as they entered the venue with a secret number. Once you call in that number at the Samsung phone booth you learn what prize you've won.
