DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE HOMELESS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

Walking in the downtown area was a sharp reminder of how big our homeless problem is in the city of Houston.  In the middle of the day there were people sleeping under an overpass near the federal courthouse in the cold tempratures.  Houston's homeless population ranges anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000.  That means there are a lot of people to help.  So, during this time of the year when you're thanking God for your blessings try and remember those who don't have anything.  Stop by the Star of Hope, Salvation Army, or the charity of your choice to give back to the community.  And I'd like to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas!
